We’re building vibrant, diverse, inclusive and safe 24-hour Districts across NSW.
Your Street Your Party 2022 - Angel Place
The Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner was established in 2021 to support the growth of 24-hour Districts across New South Wales.
We aim to integrate planning and placemaking, diversify night-time activities, promote industry and cultural development, improve safety, mobility and connectivity.
One key initiative supporting these efforts is the creation of Neon Marketplace—a digital hub for businesses, creatives, artists and corporate brands within NSW’s 24-hour economy to share opportunities for collaboration and connection with one another.
To learn more about our programs and how we collaborate with businesses, communities and government, visit 24-hour economy in NSW. You can also sign up for our newsletter to stay updated with the latest news from the Office.

We acknowledge that we live and work on Aboriginal land and recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of First Nations Australians. We also acknowledge all of the traditional owners of the land in NSW, and pay respect to First Nations Elders, past and present.
